Description
This guy started as a speedpainting in Photoshop, basically just a colored linedrawing, and I liked that so much that i decided to make a whole painting of himWhen I made the scribble I thought of a dark skintone for him, that's why he has a dark skin, not because he's a drow or of evil alignment.
I think this drawing could have been made quicker if I had planned it better, i've changed the light 3 times for example If I had thought it out better in forehand, I would not have wasted time on that.
Thanks to everyone for posting in my WIP for this drawing
C&C is really welcome
Photoshop 7, 60 hours (tooooo long), Wacom Intuos A4.
I used reference pictures for the body/brances and some details. I placed a link to them here, so you can look at them if you want. I also linked to a pic where you can see how this drawing developed.

Yes we have a half naked man! *yeaaaha* not just women, no someone managed to make a picture of a nice man even if his face looks a little bit toooo evil

@nailati: yeah, you're right about the branches, but I did not feel like doing it again since i was already working so long on this drawing and I need to do other things too. I won't do it again, next time I'll get my braches right ^0^

@design-deist: I didn't really make him with a story in mind, he was just starting from a scribble. But I think he would be some kind of solitairy elf living in the woods who just discovered a stranger entering his woods

I like the brush strikes, but some facial feautres are just too strong. By the way, I've never imagined an elf like him.

The anatomy is good but not enough , dont close the shapes, I mean, dont make the muscles like a separate object, thats bad for the unicity of the body, break some lines and then the eyes can flow in the muscles shapes ,remenber that a closed shape always catch the eye.
thanks for your advices ,I really appreciate your help.
