Another work on the Invisible Island birthday card series

This time the other raptors decide to pull a prank on the blue raptor by hiding his gift in a set of pumpkins...after taking apart all the pumpkins he discovers a tiny little present....but of course they would not be so mean to give him just that so the other raptors are just around the corner

That's a good question. Probably in the short term, digital illustration. Long term; traditional painting.
Anyway this is another nice one. Cute concept. Good drawing. One thing i could say is the composition is sort of an "X" shape from the corners with the intersect at the center of interest right in the middle. Maybe next time toy around with different angles and cropping?

@valentine9: Yes composition is not perfect indeed, once I figured that out I was pretty much half done. And I can't look at an artwork for too long or won't finish it :S

Nice concept - but I don't think I could get it without the description - actually I didn't

But it so complicated that I'd advice to write it somewhere on the card - so your painting would illustrate the story. Anyway i think you did best to show this story. Very nice and joyful work

I think the sky is a bit too empty - comparing to the rest of the painting - a few branches could bring the piece together imo
